Hogwarts - A Story of Other Students
Isadora is a small, dark haired girl. Her skin sports a handful of well concealed scars, marks of a childhood illness, that Isadora is careful to keep hidden. She’s incredibly spoiled, although when pushed out of her comfort zone she can eventually achieve impressive feats. While standoffish and unused to the company of people her own age, she has a strong sense of right and wrong and a dangerous impulsive streak. She’s prone to nausea, dizziness, excessive bruising and otherwise has a weak stomach, and has been known to faint at the sight of blood, excluding her own, but she doesn’t let that stop her.
Her wand is acacia and dragon heart string, thirteen inches.
Her family keeps a large tawny owl.
Isadora Selwyn is the coddled only child of Vittoria and Arlys Selwyn. Her father’s family is a very old pure blood family, with reported ties to the dark arts. Her uncle was a known Death Eater during the first Wizarding war. Her mother’s family is equally pedigreed. Vittoria’s mother is notable for having left a lot of money to her daughter, of unknown origins. There are rumours about diamond heists, though nothing substantiated.
Isadora was primarily raised abroad in Spain after a bad bout of Dragon Pox as a child left her sickly and frail. Spoiled by her mother, father, and the family house elf she lacked for little, and grew accustomed to being the center of attention. Her family returned to England for her education, though the resultant case of Portkey sickness required hospitalization at St. Mungo’s and made her a few days late for her first year at Hogwarts.
She was duly sorted into Slytherin, in fine family tradition, upon her arrival a several days after the rest of the student body.
